For this assignment, we were required to gather look development references and try to make materials that looked similar to the references to put in the scene. I had the idea of having the big pieces of this scene be monochromatic while the small pieces were going to be different splashes of color. I can definitely say the glass objects, the thermos, and the lighting within each scene were the hardest things to do. I feel like I did better lighting on my day scene than the night scene because the lighting was really hard to set up and match the intensities of the references. I might post the final product of the day scene with textures added onto the materials in hopes that it looks better than this set-up. I do feel really proud of the way these came out and working on them taught me so much about mia_materials, shading, lighting, and look development that goes into film and games. I definitely wouldn't mind working on more stuff like this in the future.
